A while back I was watching Def Poetry on HBO. It is an excellent program if you’ve never watched it. There was one poet I really liked. This poet was a teacher. He was very passionate reciting the poem that he had written. The title of his poem is “What Do Teachers Make?” Recently I went to my friend Joey’s site and noticed he had a video of this very poem. I had to share it. I’ve been looking for it ever since but didn’t know the poet’s name. I now present Taylor Mali’s brilliant poem.
Ann Coulter, the poster girl for the Republican party needs to shut up already. I’m so sick of her lies and rude comments. In case you were not away, several months ago she came under fire for calling former Senator John Edwards a “faggot”. She has also said, “If I’m going to say anything about John Edwards in the future, I’ll just wish he had been killed in a terrorist assassination plot.” Very nice. I’m glad to see Edwards’ wife Elizabeth has confronted her, asking her to stop the personal attacks, not just against them, but against everyone she has attacked over the years, such as 9/11 widows. This woman has no class, no dignity, and most of all, she has no clue.
At least some countries are on the right path:

I no longer own Blogitforward.com. I was contacted this week about selling the domain. I was offered a fair price, and I sold. If you’re curious as to who bought it, you can do a simple whois search on the domain and it will tell you. Apparently some big plans are in the works for the domain. Keep checking the domain to see what comes. If you’re wondering how much I got, I’ll simply say, the price was right (for me).
