After having to ship the product from another store on Sunday, they screw up yet again. Today was the day the product was supposed to be at the store I had purchased it from. I even received an email from Corporate stating:

… we are more than willing to make the arrangements to cancel your open sale, which by the way does have product in it at this time…

Well, guess what, they didn’t have it in stock. Thanks for wasting my time for the third time. It was at the Bridgeton store. Why there? Who knows, because it was originally at the O’fallon, IL store. What’s even funnier is that they are trying to pass blame on their fuck ups to us, when all we tried to do was purchase a camera. We didn’t hire and not train the employees. We didn’t put employees who didn’t know what they were doing in charge on the busiest shopping day of the year, and we sure as hell didn’t delete our place in line for the product and then not ship it to the store (on 2 occasions). No American, that is your fault. The manager at the store I was at was aware of the situation and the email from corporate. He said he was aware I was complaining a lot. Well sir, I have only complained when you guys have screwed up. So if it seems it is a lot, what does that tell you about your store and service? This whole company is showing its true colors (no pun intended). I would not be too shocked if there is a part 4 in the near future, based on their current track record.

Or should it be Unofficially Official?

Someone in the Qn5 Forums put together a tripod website detailing the concept album A Piece of Strange by CunninLynguists. The album is brilliant in my opinion, but this fan site was not. I have to give props to the guy because he took time to create it, but the design was not very pleasing to the eyes. Many people in the forums liked the idea, but wanted a new design. I decided to throw something together and this is what I came up with. It’s unofficially official. Keep cheking the site for reviews, interviews about the album, and more critiques. What is A Piece of Strange?

American is still by far the worst store. We go in to pick up the product we purchased 2 weeks ago. It is the day after the date of scheduled pickup. Guess what? That’s right, they don’t have it. Apparently, our place in line to get the product was somehow deleted. So, now we have to wait until the 15th for it to finally come in from another store. Let’s see if they can mess up again. Remember kids, DON’T SHOP AMERICAN! (by the way, there has still been no answer from Corporate HQ regarding the email I sent after the first screw up. Let’s see how many posts and emails it takes for them to acknowledge their incompetence.)

Richard Pryor was one of the greatest comedians ever. His comic antics with Gene Wilder are unforgettable. His Brewster’s Millions is one of my favorite movies ever. He will be missed, but not forgotten.

Richard Pryor, the caustic yet perceptive actor-comedian who lived dangerously close to the edge both on stage and off, died Saturday. He was 65. Pryor died shortly before 8 a.m. of a heart attack after being taken to a hospital from his home in the San Fernando Valley, said his business manager, Karen Finch. He had been ill for years with multiple sclerosis, a degenerative disease of the nervous system.

I finally reinstalled my plugin for Last.fm. Take a look at what I’m listening to.
