2005 Recap
Jen had a great idea, so I thought I’d steal it. This is 2005 in review.
January
- I made my thoughts clear about the scarf, which still brings many people to my site to this day.
- I created my own blogging rules which i still try to follow
- I blamed hip hop for all our woes.
February
- Superbowl and PCP– What can be more fun?
- I discussed the American Dream….. again.
March
- String Theory Proof makes me lucky in google.
- Podcasting made it to the hip hop world.
- Giant Steps enthralled me.
- Mediacrap upset me almost as much as the passing of Mitch Hedberg.
April
- Scientific American gives us a joke.
- My Birthday came and went.
- I wrote my first (and only) plugin.
- and was excited of the fact that I use the same blogging platform as famous people.
May
- I was nearing the end of my college career.
- I read the history of the internet and complained that I missed the early 90’s.
- It was an emotional ending at work, but my brick cheered me up.
June
- June was a slow month, but I did get together with 2 other generations of Cardinals fans.
- Black Egypt brought some discussion around the internet, but not as much as the FSM.
July
- Tom Cruise became a nutjob while the rest of the world had some office fun.
- The Kennewick man and wordpress made the news.
August
- A funny statistic came out, while Christopher Walkin decided to run for President.
- Rules to drink by were posted, but there was no bonus track.
September
- Trusted Computing helped me reflect on Cardinals Nation.
October
- The Passion of a different kind was announced while I still supported my Cardinals
- Young racists spread across the net faster than a Flock of sheps.
November
- November brought the Boondocks and cheers for Chris Carpernter and Albert Pujols.
- The rules to being a man were not included in the geography of men and women.
- Bush had no exit strategy for our Turkus.
- Don’t Shop American became my motto over the next several weeks.
December
- Richard Pryor left us as I became unofficially-officially strange
- Many theories graced my blog, including one about Dave Chappelle and the buffalo.
- WordPress 2.0 was released, even though many bugs were still present. Maybe it should have been designed by System/79.
And that is my boring 2005 in brief. Maybe 2006 will be a bit more exciting. I hope everyone has a great new year. Make it a safe one.
