The Global Test in Presidency 101
You can’t say that this is not funny.
Discover Magazine recently compared Bush and Kerry on their stances on various Science related policies. I found it to be very interesting. (the article is quite long, but divided into sections based on policies/topics, so read what interests you)
Without Washington?s billions?about 126.5 of them this year?America?s university laboratories and a vast network of federal research centers would wither, if not collapse. Science in the United States runs on tax dollars, and if the dollars decline, so too will the nation?s national security, health, and prosperity.
Jon Stewart was recently on the CNN show Crossfire. While on there he talked about how much the show sucked. He told the hosts that they were the reason that America is so polarized. Of course, he wasn’t putting all the blame on them as individuals, but all of the media. Watch the clip here: Stewart on Crossfire
As you see, it is quite funny, yet he has a strong point. I read other people’s blogs and listen to other people talk, and while i do think Bush is terrible and am flabbergasted at how much his supporters stand by him, no matter what, I don’t hate people because of their political ideologies. It amazes me when people hate something someone says, no matter what it is, all because they belong to a different political party. I know a couple people like that, and it’s actually pretty pathetic. Do I hate all Republican’s because I tend to be more democratic? Of course not. Do I dislike a lot of Republican policies and stances on issues, of course, but I don’t hate Republicans as people. (well, maybe rush limbaugh, j/k ).
(by the way, check out the Daily Show the day after Stewart’s appearance on Crossfire: Daily Show)

The thing that I don’t understand is how blindly most Bush supporters are following Bush. Now, I understand you have to feel loyalty to your party, but when the leader of that party is as dumb and untruthful as Bush is, maybe it’s time to cross the line. Don’t get me wrong. I’m not attributing this to all Republicans, because I know a lot of Republicans who have seen with their own eyes, thought with their own mind, and come to the conclusion that Bush is dishonest not good for this country. It’s in plain black and white, but if you don’t believe my little rants, lets look at the evidence:
Bush Lies
On the Economy: GEORGE BUSH: “… we will not pass along our problems to … other generations.”
THE TRUTH: $1.9 trillion in new debt over 5 years, with deficits continuing thereafter.
