I’ve made a bargain with myself that if I finish my 10 page paper (of which i have 2 pages of it actually written) by the end of work tomorrow (5:00pm CST) then I will buy the laptop I have been looking at. If I can’t get it finished, then I will buy it at the end of May or June, when I actually have money.
It would be nice to have it now though, that way I can take my desktop computer home Dead Day weekend when I make my first trip home. If I do that, then I have more space in my car for the rest of my belongings. (wow, i’m really trying to convince myself to buy it now, aren’t i?)
In other News:
A tragic fire this morning destroyed the personal library of President George W. Bush. The fire began in the presidential bathroom where both of the books were kept. Both of his books have been lost. A presidential spokesman said the president was devastated, as he had almost finished coloring the second one.

Family Guy
I’ve been excited ever since I heard the glorious news that Family Guy was coming back. Well, thanks to some connections, I got the first new episode that is supposed to air this upcoming Sunday night. I watched it. I laughed. I silently thanked the people at Fox for coming back to their senses. Family Guy fans won’t be disappointed this Sunday.
Laptop update: I decided to wait to buy it. I can wait a couple months, I guess.

The Late Late Show
Conan has been re-runs the past few days, so I flipped over to The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. I hated the show with Craig Kilborn, it was very unfunny. The show under the hosting of Craig Ferguson was a pleasant surprise. I really like his humor, interview style, and Scottish accent. The only downfall to the show is that I don’t see it lasting long. Conan has the funnier show. When Conan takes over the Tonight Show in 2009, then maybe Craig’s show would have a chance, but will CBS settle for lower ratings until then? I hope so, because I don’t think Late Night will ever have another Conan.
