I decided to take a hiatus from Political Jackass. Writing about politics takes too much time when you are trying to stay up on current events. I just don’t feel like blogging about politics anymore. There are thousands and thousands of political opinion websites out there, so I’m sure my readers will be able to find other sites to get their liberal news from. If anyone would like to contribute to PJ, use my contact form and sign up. Otherwise, don’t expect any updates for a bit.
I posted this over at Political Jackass, but I thought I’d post it here as well. Watch the video of Bush unable to leave.
When I moved from pieceofshep.com to mikeschepker.com for my blog, there were two galleries that I never brought over. One is Chile protest pictures from 11/2004 and the other was Banksy graffiti pics. They are now both in the gallery section.
The Boondocks, the genius comic strip created by Aaron McGruder is finally making its way to the small screen. After being delayed several times (moving networks, and the usual delays that come with a animated program) the cartoon starring Regina King and John Witherspoon will make its debut this Sunday night during the Adult Swim block on the Cartoon Network. The show focuses on two black children and their grandfather living in white suburbia. The Boondocks has been one of my favorite comic strips for years and I’m excited about what kind of controversy this show can stir up. This cartoon won’t be for everyone though. Those that are offended by racial issues, Bush bashing, and common sense need not watch. The offical site (which is still under construction) can be found at: Boondocks.net.
I created the PAYA Club website using my modified Squible theme and WordPress. PAYA is a school club for politically active youth at the high school where I’m student teaching.
