I’ve updated my photo gallery structure to make it more organized. I also added some older pictures.
Congrats goes to Cardinals Ace Chris Carpenter. It was announced today that Carpenter won the NL Cy Young Award. He is the first Cardinal to do so since Bob Gibson. Carpenter had a great season with a 21-5 record. He was the first Cardinal to win 20 games since Matt Morris in 2001. With 213 strikeouts, he was the first Cardinal since Jose DeLeon in 1989 to strike out more than 200 batters. Read the story from StL Today.
When I moved from pieceofshep.com to mikeschepker.com for my blog, there were two galleries that I never brought over. One is Chile protest pictures from 11/2004 and the other was Banksy graffiti pics. They are now both in the gallery section.
This has to be one of the funniest sites on the intarwebs. Not only that, but it totally bashes everything Web 2.0.
Time magazine came out with a list of the Top 100 Novels. There are some really good books on there, but there are a few that I think should be on the list and are not. So now, I give you my list. No, I will not list 100 novels, but just some of my favorite.
Those are the ones I could come up with off the top of my head. I’m sure there are many, many more that I have read and forgot on this list.
