New Colors and Other Site Updates

I changed the colors of the site a bit. They were red/orange and I changed them to blue. Blue is my favorite color, so I thought I’d try this out. I hope the header image isn’t too bright. I’m still not decided on that. Any thoughts?

Also, since I last reinstalled Akismet I’ve been saved from 1000 spam comments with not one false positive. Good job Askismet people!

I’ve got 4564 comments removed. I don’t even know what I’d do without it. I probably wouldn’t allow comments at all.

i agree, if it wasn’t for akismet and bad behavior, i wouldn’t allow comments at all. Too much spam out there

Spam’s not been that big a deal for me yet, but I did install Akismet anyway so hopefully it’ll never be a problem.

Anyway what i wanted to say was the header isn’t too bright and is actually quite interesting just to look at. It’s like one of they puzzle things you sit and stare at to see different patterns because of the lined effect through it. lol, although I did feel I was going cross-eyed after a staring at it for a few minutes :D

After trying to figure out why a cron job was not working correctly for the past two days, I finally got it to work. Small victories sometimes feel the best.
